Nature’s Classroom Summer Camp

Kids should learn to live, work and play together, not through forced conformity to rules, but through understanding individual responsibilities in a social setting. Kids will learn to honestly appreciate the individual differences in people that are fostered in the development of a harmonious community.

Nature's Classroom offers two summer programs, one at Prindle Pond in Charlton, MA and another at Sargent Center in Hancock, NH. These are the only two summer programs operated by Nature’s Classroom in New England.

Life-Tech Ventures Summer Camp in MA is a residential and day camp that runs from July 5-August 8. Campers choose a core area that appeals to their particular interests, including natural science, physical science, fine arts, performing arts and adventure challenge. More than 12 hours each week are dedicated to this area. In addition to these classes, campers participate in fun discovery activities that might include rockets, tye-dye, pond probe, mask making, invent-a-beast, boomerangs, eat the world and much much more. Spend your summer with us, it will be the experience of a lifetime.

Adventure Camp in NH is a coed overnight camp for youth, ages 10-17. Campers spend time in the outdoors, challenge themselves and make new friends. With a balance of nature connection and adventure activities, campers will connect with the natural world in multiple ways. Kayaking, archery, blacksmithing, rock climbing, nature art, photography and primitive living skills are just a few of the activities. There are one and two week sessions that run from June 28-August 7. The two week option includes a two-night, three-day on site camp out. Every session ends with a final challenge on the High Ropes Course and a closing ceremony where each camper is awarded the K.E.Y. to Adventure!
