Bushy Hill offers unique summer day camps for children ages 4+. We believe that as people grow in their understanding of the natural world, they also grow in their understanding of others and, ultimately, of themselves. Located on 700 acres of mixed forested land, Bushy Hill features miles of maintained hiking trails, a private mile-long lake, a friendly farm, ropes courses, tipi, wigwam and nature center.
Activities include exploring the forest, pond probe, hiking, team building, group games, swimming, tracking, safe fire making, plant/animal identification, boating, cooking over a campfire, and more! Camps run 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. with bus transportation, before and after-care available upon request.
Bushy Hill Seedlings Camp introduces 4-5 year-olds to the world of day camp as they spend the day exploring, creating, playing, making friends and learning how to interact with nature in a safe and respectful way. One-week, fullday sessions.
Bushy Hill Day Camp fosters a child’s curiosity and love for nature in a responsible, caring, non-competitive manner. One or two-week sessions; ages 5-12.
Bushy Mountain Teen Camp is for teens who are ready to take on responsibility and use cooperation and communication with peers to complete team building activities and service-learning projects in a day camp setting. One or two-week sessions; ages 13+.
Scout Teen Camp is a wilderness survival skills and adventure camp that focuses on learning how to be comfortable in nature. One- or two-week sessions with some overnight camping trips; ages 13+.
Counselor in Training Program offers teens the unique opportunity to learn and develop skills as a leader, including conflict resolution and group management. One- or two-week sessions; ages 15+.
