Established in 1917, we have been nurturing exploration and transformation for over 100 years! On our 300-acre campus in the Litchfield Hills, we welcome you to relax and learn, have fun, make lifelong friends and find God in nature. The official summer camp of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut.
Located on 300 acres in the Litchfield Hills, in the summer, you will find a small camp where campers can take a break from their routine, make new friends, deepen their faith, have fun, learn new skills and return home with memories that will last a lifetime!
Worship Life is based in the Episcopal tradition. Campers explore their faith in an open and caring environment through morning worship, evening devotions, theme based activities and closing day Eucharist.
We encourage children and staff to participate fully in worship and structure our worship in such a way as to respect the various traditions from which our campers come.
Camp Washington is licensed by the State of Connecticut and fully accredited by the American Camp Association.
