For more than 30 years, Curtain Call, Stamford’s longest-running and only nonprofit, theatre-producing company, has provided year-round live, theatrical productions, dramatic arts classes, free outdoor summer Shakespeare and our Summer Youth Theatre program. Our Summerstock Full-Day Theatre Workshops offer creative opportunities for grades K to 12 to develop confidence, teamwork and collaborative skills as well as performance and social skills. Students work in age-appropriate groups rotating between specialized instructors. A professionally run facility with a staff of local, professional artists. Eight-week sessions of classes are offered fall, winter and spring for kids, teens and adults.

Camp Aldrich offers unparalleled access to art and artists for students entering grades 1 through 6. These full-day, week-long sessions include in-gallery learning, art-making, mindful activities and games, and access to the Museum’s Sculpture Garden led by Museum Educators and practicing artists. Each week ends with a Camper Art Show and caregivers receive personalized daily emails sharing what their child learned. Sessions run from July 11 to August 5.

Silvermine Summer Art Studio Camps offer extraordinary opportunities for youth and teens. We have over 100 sessions in painting, drawing, woodworking, ceramics, sculpture, glass flame working, digital arts & much more. Silvermine’s campus and many landscape views enhance the experience of attending camp, with its many art studios, sculpture walk and picturesque pond with waterfall. Offering eleven morning and afternoon weeklong sessions for ages 3 – 17, from June 20 – August 26. Combine AM and PM with lunch bunch (supervised lunch) for a full day experience.

GAC’s annual summer youth program is geared towards developing your child’s creative expression, artistic skills and social interaction through hands-on activities. No matter what your child is interested in, they’ll find something to explore and learn in our summer program.  The youth summer program at GAC is open to children ages 5 –12 years with morning and afternoon sessions available. Weekly programs are built around popular themes and craft techniques. Our professional instructors are experienced in teaching children in a caring way, sharing their knowledge of painting, drawing, sewing, sculpture, pottery, cartooning, and so much more. Weeklong sessions run from June 20 - August 19. There are also classes for teens, including stained glass making (ages 12+) and blacksmithing (ages 13+).
