Make this summer a time for discovering new skills, exploring new subjects, and having loads of fun.

With dozens of sessions, King School Summer Institute offers something to suit the individual strengths and talents of each child. Children who attend our programs feel more confident, prepared and inspired. Offering academic programs, sports clinics, and fun camp, Summer Institute runs June 15-August 7 and attracts Kindergarten-Grade 12 students from over 40 different schools in CT and NY.

Academic Courses

Prepare your child for the new school year with an academic course for incoming Grades 3-12. Taught by King’s exceptional faculty, our small class size ensures that your child will receive the attention that King delivers year round. These courses can be especially helpful for students transitioning from elementary to middle and from middle to high school. The most popular classes are in the areas of Math, Science, Art, English, and Global Studies. Many past attendees have taken academic courses plus a sport or performing arts session.

Sports Clinics

King offers several sports clinics that provide individualized instruction to help your

child develop their skills and have fun while training with varsity-level coaches. They will also learn to collaborate with teammates through drills and scrimmages. Children train with top coaches to enhance their skills in field hockey, basketball, volleyball, baseball,

and more.

Fun Camp

Your children will gain confidence and be challenged in our STEM-inspired sessions. Our professional faculty and counselors, accompanied by experts from the Stamford Nature Center, will nurture your children and broaden their experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math. Fun camp fuels curiosity through daily field trips, activities, sports, and games. Incoming Kindergarten-Grade 6 students can register for all six weeks or a combination of weeks.
