Best Summer Ever: New Canaan YMCA Summer Camps

The New Canaan YMCA Summer Camps have provided thousands of children in the community with a camp experience they never forget.  New Canaan YMCA Summer Camps offer a variety of experiences for children of all ages and abilities, with each camp offering safe and supervised fun provided by a caring, responsible staff. Each child gains something different at our camps: making new friends, learning how to swim, self-confidence, independence, and leadership—skills that last far beyond the summer.

2021 Programs:

Camp Mini: Ages 3-5 (Pre-K)*

Where little kids make big memories. Held at the Y, Camp Mini provides a safe and comfortable camp experience for children to play, grow, and make friends.

Camp Y-Ki: Completed Grades K-5*

Where adventure awaits. An exciting outdoor camp experience for school-age children, offering a variety of activities which help campers build self-esteem, confidence, independence, and responsibility ─ all while enjoying simple summertime fun with new friends.

NEW! Sports Camp: Grades 3-8*

Where every player is most valuable. Newly designed and held at the Y, Sports Camp blends athletics and wellness together. With focus on a specific sport per session, swim lessons, stroke mechanics, and mindfulness activities, campers will build confidence and independence, while finding balance in activities that promote wellness.

The Y’s special needs camp programs offer children with varying limitations an inclusive traditional summer camp experience within three day camps, as well as a specialized camp program for teens and young adults at the Y.
