Ridgefield Academy/Landmark Preschool is a Preschool - Grade 8 program by design. The school offers an intellectually inspiring educational program and fosters joyful learning in a connected community. Ridgefield Academy and Landmark Preschool celebrate childhood, pursues excellence, and cultivates kindness.

With small class sizes and individualized attention, each student is seen, understood, and encouraged. Students are challenged to take risks and speak their mind as they rise to their authentic selves.

An active and meaningful Kindergarten and Grade 8 buddy program, school-wide service learning activities, and grade 6-8 interdisciplinary weeks offer examples of a program designed with intentional connectedness. Students are a part of the entire RA/LP community from their first day on campus, when they ceremoniously ring the Patriot Bell to signify the beginning of this foundational academic journey.

Guided by its Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning, RA’s curriculum ensures that students engage in learning that is both comprehensive and meaningful to their lives. Students find the power of their voices during class discussions, collaborations with their peers, and public speaking.
